Nice to see Moyes clearly rates Benrahma as our best chance of creating something as he left him on. Brilliant pass to Antonio for the first goal and what a run to find Fornals..

Nice to see Moyes agrees with most on here and a game we wouid have lost without our most creative player...

I agree, I'm not a fan of Viera (can't stand the cunt) but fair play to him getting that much effort from his team. their improvement from the Chelsea game was clear and impressive. we just looked a bit flat second half, maybe the emotion of Monday night left its mark. that, and Dawson's nightmare display

Not to me it never. Thought Palace were good for the point. We weren't capable of defending a lead, twice, and apart from that one break we had at the end we were hanging on and they should have buried that header at the death. Was content to take the point in the end.

Very unusual but most of the observations below are spot on.

Our Czech players had their worst game in a West Ham shirt and Dawson was shown that he's not that good.Fabianski is obviously looking over his shoulder and will have to take a back seat soon.
I fucking hate Palace but they were in our faces all of the second half so well done them.
It felt like a defeat rather than a draw.Stll 7 points after 3 games,I'll take that.

Felt like we had a lot of corners against Leicester and yesterday and didnt feel like we got first to ANY of them.
As said set piece goals were a real strength for us last season but we have been off the boil this season.

Noticed several times with corners on the right particularly Benrahma would be free on the edge of the area probably because teams are putting everyone in the box to combat us.
Couple of times he was on for a quick pass but we seemed continually hit balls at the near post. Which we lost every time.

Absolutely battered them first half but got to take chances when that much on top.

Other than that we must be the only team that gets progressively weaker with every substitution that we make.

Our set pieces were poor. I was level with the six yard box for our first and both their goals. Coufal was brilliant at getting down the line and being in the right place (his missus was a few rows behind me btw) but they final ball was poor, or we dicked about around the box. They were more direct and it worked.

Gallagher, like Saint-Maximin the other week, has exposed our weakness as regards containing quick, physical, technically-skilled forwards. Rice can't be expected to carry this role on his own all game, every game, so hopefully this Zouma signing will address this issue as Dawson's limitations were most glaring in this respect.

Also, thought our set pieces were crap yesterday.

We’ve gone from being a massive threat at set pieces to fairly average.

Bowen’s corners were poor and cresswell takes our corners on the left so they are out swingers.
